Is Your Message Being Heard?

Baseball season is in full swing for my 10 year old son. Last night during hitting practice the Coach, who played in the Major League, spoke to the boys about greatness. "Boys,

the difference between great players, the guys who make the major league and good players, the guys who play in the minor league, comes down to one thing... consistency."

According to his wisdom, 20-50 swings a day will make a good player great. As I listened, I was thinking about marketing. How many so called "experts" make a name for themselves because they are constantly visible. They may not be the most qualified. They might not have the most knowledge or experience. What they do have is a system. They plan their work and then work their plan.

How can YOU become more Consistent?

1. Schedule a recurring free event and invite people to attend. This can be a teleseminar, a talk or a short event. The point is to always have something to invite people to, and then always invite them.

2. Send out an ezine or newsletter on a specific schedule. Weekly is best for increased visibility, however monthly is better than not at all! Schedule it and make it happen.

3. Blog each week. It can as long or short as you want. The point is to put your message out there each week. Once is the minimum, twice is better.

4. Tweet daily. A daily tweet keeps you in front of your followers. It give them a reminder of what you do and who you are.

5. Plan your events for the year. Schedule group coaching classes, workshops and larger events for the entire year. Talk about them months before they happen. Give your followers something to look forward to.

6. Schedule your appointments in blocks of time and follow your schedule. Consistency in your schedule helps with the structure of your business.

7. Add people to your list every day. Where ever you go, invite people to join your list. Focus on growing your list and your business will follow.

Start today. Invest some time to choose what you will do. Choose at least one thing to add to your marketing plan. Once you decide on your plan, get into action. Invite, share your wisdom and follow your plan. It can make the difference between good and great!

5 Tips To Build Your Fan Club


One of the questions my clients ask is how to get people to notice them in the midst of the millions of marketing messages that zips past us everyday. Grabbing someone's attention requires more than a glitsy website and a catchy message. You must understand EXACTLY who your customers are. You have to feel their pain and offer solutions to them that solve their problems. Check your marketing plans against these 5 tips. Fill in whatever is missing or needs a boost, and create your own raving fan club!

1. Identify the values and characteristics of your perfect customers. What do they hold in high regard? Make a list of everything your customers want, that you provide. Make sure the items on your list are high priority items for them. People invest in what they value. Make sure your target market values what you offer. If not, you may want to switch markets, or fine tune your offerings.

2. Let your IDEAL customers say "yes"! When marketing your services talk about the benefits of what you do. Use emotion and feelings to describe the results people receive. Don't waste time explaining your services. No one cares about the materials used to make their car when they are off to a family occasion or fun night out on the town. They want the ride to be smooth. Talk about smooth rides rather than belted radials. 

3. Give your customers want they want from you. Be who they expect you to be. Show them the side of you that motivates and encourages them to work with you. Be the person they expect to receive the highest quality experiences from. Let them see beyond your marketing and give them a glimpse of your personality.

4. Amplify your strengths to really stand out in the crowd. What are those natural strengths and ability that you take for granted. This is where your gold lies. What your strength's are is less important than you understanding them and using them to help others! Are you a natural at problem solving? Can you see solutions in unique ways? Maybe you have an eye for talent. Whatever you are great at, plug into it and use it to provide your own unique skills as a service.

5. Do one thing that is big, bold, and beyond what you thought you could do. What would your customers like to see from you, that you would love to grow into, yet have not yet had the courage to say yes to? Go for it. Think big and be big. Everyone loves courage. Talk about it on facebook, twitter and in your ezine! Let the word spread about your latest courageous leap!

A Prosperity Plan is a powerful tool that can produce dramatic results. When you invest time to look closely at all areas of your life and make commitments to create your life based on what you truly want, and who you are, your life will change. 

Complete the following self-investigation. Your willingness to complete the assignment will set your intention. Arrange a comfortable place and give yourself plenty time to complete the exercise. 

Score each area on a scale of 1-10. (1 indicates not at all fulfilled and 10 indicates completely fulfilled.) Your rating signifies how satisfied you are, not necessarily the amount of time and energy you spend in that area.

This is fun! It’s the canvas of your life. Enjoy the process!

Career_______

Most of us work a third of our lives. We change and evolve as we mature and discover the meaning of life. You deserve to have the career of your dreams. Exploring this part of your life can give you the creativity to look at different perspectives and possibilities that will inspire you to action. What would make your career a 10? Define what your ideal career would look and feel like. What is your fulfillment level presently? 


Relationships_______

Authentic, supportive and healthy relationships bring peace and harmony to our lives. Distinguishing and defining your relationship needs and wants will help you come to a clear, concise idea of what you want from your relationships, and how you want to be in your relationships. How fulfilled are you in this area of your life? What do you want from the relationships in your life? 


Family_______

You define what family means and how fulfilled you are with these important relationships. Becoming clear about what you need from family, and what you give, makes a dramatic difference in your fulfillment level. What is your definition of family? How fulfilled are you with your family? This might include your immediate family or your extended family. Or, it could mean your closest, most intimate friends. 


Spiritual Growth:_______

Teilhard de Chardin said, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” What legacy will you leave behind? You have spiritual gifts to give and lessons to learn in this lifetime. What is your definition of spirituality? Are you living it? What would make it a 10 on the fulfillment scale? Score yourself as to how fulfilled you are right in this moment with your spirituality.

Health_______

You have been given a body for the duration of your life. You may be happy or unhappy with it, but one thing is sure—it is with you until you leave this planet. How satisfied are you with your health? How healthy are your habits? If your health were ideal, how would you feel? Do you know how to get there? Do you want support?

Financial_______

Intimacy with your financial picture can greatly change your financial health. How happy are you with your financial picture? How well do you understand it? Are you aware of your beliefs surrounding your earning and spending habits? What is your financial vision? Do you make choices that will bring you immediate financial abundance? What would make your financial life ideal?

Partner/Romance_______

The truth is we all need intimacy. We all seek a fulfilling relationship that brings us love, intimacy and joy. What do you desire in a partner? What does your ideal relationship look like? How fulfilled are you presently? 


Personal Growth_______ 

Learning and growing keeps you alive and energetic. Continuous learning expands your view and brings your life richness and abundance. How satisfied are you with your personal growth? If this area of your life were absolutely ideal, what would be happening? Do you give yourself time to excel and to discover the wiser, more powerful you?

Fun and Recreation_______

If you take the fun out of life, you take the passion out of living. Enjoying life feeds your soul. When you take time for fun, you increase your energy and creativity in all areas of your life.
What does fun mean to you? Write a definition. How fulfilled are you in the fun and recreation part of your life? What would make it a 10?


Harmony_______

Harmony is an important value for most of us. When we have harmony in our life we produce greater results, personally and professionally. Ideally, no one area of life takes energy away from other areas of life. To create harmony we distinguish your most important roles and prioritize them. We then create a flexible schedule and mindset that honors those life priorities. How harmonic is your life on a scale of 1-10? What areas are out of harmony? What would make you 100% happy with the harmony of your life?

Once you complete the assessment, choose 2 areas to focus on for the next 60 days. What can you challenge yourself to do so your fulfillment increases? Decide, then take massive action toward you commitment. If you need support and accountability you may consider hiring a coach. I can refer you to expert coaches who specialize in the area you choose to enhance. It's time to jump start your year and finish strong!

Stop Chasing Clients and Start Serving!

IStock_000007007395XSmall Working with my clients and mastermind participants I often help them fill their businesses with clients. Many times they are running all over town from networking meetings to coffee appointments trying to shake out a few solid leads. It’s frustrating and a BIG waste of time. If this is your case you may want to consider focusing on 10-20 ideal people and use my "Fill Your Business With Ideal Clients System" to ramp up your results. Here are a few of the basic steps to get you up and running.

1. If you have not yet created your client schedule, start right away. Decide on the exact days, times, and the length of your appointments. If you want to work with 10 clients each week you must know what time slots you have available before booking them. Certainty sells and the more structure you have with your schedule and packages, the more confidence you will project to your potential clients. You also give yourself a target to shoot for. You will not recognize your success in filling your business unless you decide how many people you will accept into your schedule.

2. Now that your available appointment slots are scheduled, it’s time to fill them with clients! Get crystal clear about whom your IDEAL client is. If you need assistance with this exercise you may consider a trial in the Conscious Wealth Community where you can download "The Ideal Client Exercise" from the Resource Center. Knowing exactly WHO you want in your business is equally as important as understanding WHEN you will be providing your services. Once you are clear on who you want to bring in, its time to get into action.

3. Make a list of everyone you already know who could get incredible value from your services. As you jot down the name of your potential clients make a note of the benefits they would receive by choosing to work with you. Make sure you list benefits and not features. Benefits are tangible results such as make $10k a month, improving your health or getting your kids to use their manners. Features are the tools you use to support our clients in accomplishing their results. Make your list as long as possible, when you hit a lull just ask yourself for one more name, most often in a very short period of time you will come up with another 5 or 6 people.

4. Get on the phone and offer your services to them. Invite your list to experience your work in a complementary session. This session is designed to help the two of you determine if your services would be a great fit for them in reaching the results they desire. This is not about you giving away free services! This is a complementary session to see if you can help them! Book your sessions in the scheduled time slots you outlined in Step 1.

5. Don't be shy about inviting people you meet to experience your work. If they fit the criteria you outlined in your "Ideal Client Exercise", then offer them a complementary session. Remember, you have something of great value and unless you are willing to invite people to experience it, no one will know. 

6. At the beginning of your session let your prospect know that at the end of your session, if you both feel you are a good fit to work together, you will invite them to be your client. Ask them if this is okay. You want to elicit their permission to be invited to purchase your services.  Once your session is complete, if you indeed do feel they are a good fit, ask them if they are ready to be your client. When they say “yes” schedule them right away. Give them 2 time options, and tell them what they can expect during their first meeting with you. Immediately send them a confirmation at minimum, a packet of info is better.

Whenever you want a boost in the number of your one-on-one client sessions use this system. Remember this is about you providing great services to people who need what you offer. Keep your ego and personality in check. This is not about you making money (although you will!) It is about you helping your ideal clients get what they want.

5 Steps To Create A Quantum Leap


Are you ready to create a quantum leap in your life? The key to leaping is laser focus. Here are 5 steps to help you get what you want!

1) Decide exactly what you want. Form a detailed picture of what you desire. Make it clear and colorful. It must be very specific. You likely already know, so just allow yourself to envision it with all the specifics.

2) Focus entirely on your intention. The work of creating comes from getting into the vibration of the outcome you desire. You must believe with your heart and soul that what you want will come to you. Keep your desire safe from doubt and uncertainty by staying focused on its creation.

3) Feel the feelings you will have once you have what you want. See yourself already having what you want. Let your mind visualize yourself interacting with it. Imagine feeling the excitement and joy of receiving your intention.

4) Get excited and begin celebrating its arrival now! Creation is creation and just like creating human life, the creation occurs well before you physically have it. By deciding and then holding a strong focus, you are allowing the desire to gestate. Just like a new family members' arrival takes 9 months, your desire will arrive in the perfect time. Celebrate now! You have planted your wishes in the garden of the creative force.

5) Take inspired action. List all the action steps you will take to bring your desire into form, then get busy taking inspired action. What steps really excite you? Keep your results detached from the specific steps you take. It will come to you because you take action, however you do not know where it will come from. Be open to receiving without attachments to your specific action.

Practice these steps. Learn to live in faith and you are on your way to manifesting your dreams. Sound simple? It is! Let me add, simple is not always easy. Learning to focus and live in faith takes commitment and discipline. Once you get it, you will use it forever!

You Are Your Source!

I have a question for you. It is one that deserves a bit of contemplation. So kick back, relax and let yourself consider it. Here it is...

Are you ready to receive everything you want?

What comes up for you when you consider that question?

When you remove your limitations and begin believing in your innate ability to create, magic happens. You will create anything that you can picture receiving. Simultaneously you will not have what you do not believe is possible. Here are 5 steps to get you started.

1. See yourself living in your dreams.
Visualize having what it is you desire. Let it run through your mind like a movie. In living color. With plenty of special effects! What are you saying? How do you feel? What do people say to you? Involve all your physical senses. What do you smell, hear, see, feel, taste and speak? Make is so real that you already feel it happening. Go ahead and visualize, day dream and fantasize about your dreams.

2. Get into action... INSPIRED action.
List out all the step that need to be taken in order to get to your desired destination. Put each one on a post it note and place them all on a big easel paper. Now... act on the most juicy ones. What really calls you? Cleaning up and preparing space? Great go for it! Move your action items around to fit your mood. Always take action from inspiration.

3. See yourself having everything you want.
You can have health, vitality, a fat bank account, deep meaningful and loving relationships, an incredible business that you love and a connection to source that brings tears to your eyes and warms your heart! While you are seeing these incredible gifts for yourself go ahead and see the effects of your prosperity on those around you. How are the lives of your family and friends different because you allowed yourself to prosper? How do they influence the world around them as a result of the experiences you helped carve. Picture this beautiful state of well being for everyone. Because it is possible, in fact it is our natural state. Be bold and claim it.

4. Be open to, and embrace surprises!
Trust that you will receive the perfect results with impeccable timing. You may receive more than you expected. When you align with your higher source your magnetism is larger than you may have previously experienced. So be open and receive the gifts in whatever form they show up.

5. Intend it!
Make up your mind that this WILL happen and get emotionally involved in a positive way! Your emotions are your speedometer. The more fuel you provide by being emotionally involved the faster it will appear. You create with focus and intention, keep your goal with you even when you are otherwise occupied, like great vacation booked and waiting for you to arrive. This allows you to take action when opportunities come to you! It also fuels you to move over, through, around or under any obstacles that you come across. With crystal clear intention you WILL get whatever you want.
